So here is my list of songs I would love for a boy to sing to me. So long as it's not like, in the middle of a street. Because whatever the song was that would still be really embarrassing.
5. Wonderwall by Oasis
I love this song and it's lyrics. The song isn't too cheesey and mushy, which I wouldn't be able to cope with if a boy sung at me, but it's still romantic. "I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do, About you now." However I could have misinterpreted the lyrics hugely, and actually he hates the girl a lot. If that's the case then scratch off Wonderwall.
4. .Holding on by Alex Day
Not only would this show that the boy actually knew me. (I love Alex Day, I love nerfightaria, I love YouTube etc etc.) But it's actually just really sweet. "Could you teach me how to write, Like you taught me how to feel alive and not a single day goes by when I don't wish for you..." Adorable, no? Yes. Yes it is. No arguments please.
3. Gold Rush by Ed Sheeran
The lyrics here are less romantic, and it mostly doesn't talk about the girl that much but it is one of my favourite songs of all time, showing the boy listens to how often I'm humming it around the house. Plus I know all the lyircs by heart meaning that I could sing along, making it more fun for everyone involved.
2. Yellow by Coldplay
Classic. Classics are good. Especially romantic ones. Coldplay have been going for years and years and therefore can do absolutely no wrong in my eyes. Ever. Except completely overplaying Paradise. But I forgive them.
1.Calendar Girl by Stars
Possibly my favourite song of all time. It's not even romantic. And it's sung by a girl which makes it a bit of a weird choice. But I don't care because:
1. I have to hurry up and walk my dogs
2. I like it.
It's so cute and lovely and lovely and cute and.., yeah. I try and pretend I'm really good at writing stuff but as you may have realised my vocabulary isn't as large as I would like it to be.
So if you haven't heard any of these songs I would say, listen to them. Also boys can sing me songs from Grease and Sound of Music. But especially Grease. Because John Travolta is so hot in that film.
Anyway those are the songs that would turn me to jelly and make me fall into the boys arms straight away. It would help even more if the looked like this:

Love, Izzy (and Ryan.) xxxxxxxxx
LOVE IT
ReplyDeleteI would love for Chris Carrabba to sing me any one of his songs. Well except for the ones that are about an extremely broken soul mourning the loss of his cheating girlfriend. I think Hands Down or So Impossible would be lovely :)
And like 3 or 4 weeks ago I distinctly remember thinking to myself that I would love for someone to sing me Wonderwall. I really would. But only if he actually considered me his Wonderwall. Cuz I don't want some random creeper singing it. Because that would be the worst.
RYAN GOSLING
I love Stolen as well! Hands Down is an amazing song, though my not in front of my parents. They may be a a bit shocked at a boy singing to a 15 year old girl about wanting to get some. Still, awesome song.
DeleteRYAN GOSLING FOREVER.
Oh yes! Stolen! I love him. He just has so much emotion and his lyrics and ahhhhhhh sigh.
DeleteHe and Ryan Gosling are both on my wall of husbands.
Yeah, Wonderwall is so wishy-washy because it's like...what the heck is a wonderwall?! IS it a good, romantic thing?! Still cute. I LOVE Ed Sheeran! HE can sing me any freaking song he wants and I'll melt.
ReplyDeleteAnd Ryan Gosling. Holy crap, Ryan Gosling.
I don't know. In fact to answer that question I typed into google, "what is a wonderwall?" Answers ranged from Canadian pop group to extremely stong wall. Not quite as romantic as I envisioned. Hum.
DeleteRYAN GOSLING FOREVER. (again)
Wonderwall <3
ReplyDeleteThat song brought me out of my heartbreak. It made me feel good. I want a guy to sing I'll Be to me.
I just listened to that song. Oh wow. If someone sung that to me I would in fact fall into their arms. For sure. x
DeleteHahaha. I know. I would not only fall into their arms but I'll be sighing and proclaiming my love. I think. I'm half-joking.
DeleteHalf joking. But a bit serious too.
DeleteI've been partial to Stars for a few years now, and had never listened to Calendar Girls. THANK YOU!
ReplyDeleteIT IS SO GOOD! (Those capitals were really happy not angry!) x
