BEDA 14: Accio Quiz

As thought I did get Hufflepuff on Pottermore. I'm actually pretty cool with it. As soon as you get Hufflepuff it tells you,"You're not stupid guys! You're not! We're smart. Seriously! We are!" Pretty much constantly. Which was nice of them. Also our common room is pretty much my dream room. So- I'm doing okay. I would have liked a bit of Ravenclaw but you know what? Can't have everything. Also I am not brave so being in Gryffindor was a no go. Hufflepuff 4evaaaaaa guys. 


Anyway it seemed to be a fitting time to do that Harry Potter survey that's going around the blogmosphere. 

Q1 Your favourite of the seven books

OH. OH, WOW. Why start with most difficult question? I'm going to have to go with Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone because that's where it all began isn't it? But let's be honest- they're all amazing and brilliant. 

Q2 Your favourite of the eight movies

I liked Part One of the Deathly Hallows because I thought the addition of Harry and Hermione dancing was actually a really nice addition to the films which wasn't in the books. I also love the first film because they are all so cute and adorable and you just want to adopt all of them. And the third film when Harry thinks Sirius killed his parents and he storms into the forest and screams. Which is actually some pretty awesome acting if you ask me. But Deathly Hallows Part One is my favourite. If I had to pick one.

Q3 Which (if any) of the films have made you angry becaues they ignored important parts of the book?

The fifth and the sixth annoyed me because they didn't make Ginny the empowering female character she was in the books. It just made me really mad. And in the 2nd film they missed out the Death Party for Nearly Headless Nick. Pfft. Missing out all the important bits eh? Jeez. 

Q4 Your least favourite female character and why

Hum. Um. It's between Bellatrix, Umbridge, Cho Chang, Angelina Johnson and Marietta Edgecombe. 

Angelina Johnson does attend the ball with Fred and then marry George which I'm not happy about. And Cho did treat Harry badly. Very badly. Edgecombe betrayed Dumbledore's Army. How dare she? HOW DARE SHE?

Bellatrix and Umbridge are obvious. 

Q5 Your favourite male character and why

Harry Potter because he is Harry Potter and the boy who lived. He is the Chosen One. And I really fancy Oliver Wood. YES. I FANCY FICTIONAL CHARACTERS.  And Neville is just a sweetheart. 

Q6 Which house would you want to be in and what house do you think you'd get?

I am a Hufflepuff. We've discussed this. It's because I'm a BRILLIANT PERSON AND SO KIND AND GOOD. YEAH. YEAH. Yeah?  

Look being in Ravenclaw is pretentious. OOH. Went there. 

I'm obviously still trying to convince myself and I would rather you didn't rub it into my face.

Q7 Your favourite female character and why

In real life Luna and Hermione would make me mad but I love them in the books for just being smart and brilliant. I bet I would be friends with Ginny. I love her in the books just not the films. Sorry guys. 

Q8 What do you think would be your favourite subject at Hogwarts?

I like the sound of Herbology. 
Potions sounds like Chemistry. That frightens me.


Q9 Your least favourite male character and why

Michael Corner. Just. Is there any reason for him? I'm kidding. Obviously Voldermort is my least favourite.

Who picks Horcruxes in this question? Idiots. 

Q11 The character you relate to the most

I relate to Susan Bones. Because we're both in Hufflepuff and trying to convince ourselves that we are important characters in life.

Q12 Your favourite pairing

Harry and Ginny. Now bring on the hate. 

Q13 Your least favourite of the eight movies

Half Blood Prince annoyed me a lot. I still enjoyed it. But some of it was just unnecessary.

Q14 Pick one - Team Harry or Team Voldemort

TEAM HARRY. YEAH. 

Q15 Who would be your best friends at Hogwarts?

Well obviously I would be in the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team- and since we need all the practice we can get me and the rest of the gang would be quite a tight knit group. Although Zacharias Smith would have a crush on me I just wouldn't view him in that way. 

I'm thinking me and Luna would be friendly. The Trio probably wouldn't let me in there group but I would get to know them after a brief relationship with Seamus Finnigan. 

I would be best friends with the twins and then meet my future husband through them. Izzy Wood.

Hagrid.

My Dad read the books to me. But I read them myself now. I don't love Half Blood Prince. 

Q18 Do you prefer the books or the films?

Obviously the books.

Q19 If you could meet one member of the cast, who would it be?

Evanna Lynch.

Q20 If you could bring one of the characters back to life, who would you choose?

Sirius Black. Or Lupin. So many deaths. UM. HUM. Oh wait. Obviously Dumbledore. OBVIOUSLY.

Q22 Any parts of the books/films that made you cry?

Too many parts. I cry at anything. Happy things make me cry. I was pretty much a mess during all the books.

Q23 Any particular scene you wish was in one of the films but wasn't?

The Prince's Tale was in the films but I wish it had been a bigger part.

Q24 Are you happy with the epilogue?

I like it. 

Q25 If you were able to use one spell without a wand, what would it be?

Agreeing with Lex on the ACCIO. The Cheering Charm would be nice as well. Cheering people up would be nice. 

Q26 Would you rather own the Invisibility Cloak, the Resurrection Stone or the Elder Wand?

Don't really need the Invisibility Cloak or the Elder Wand. I'm happy with the wand Pottermore gave me. 10 inches, Willow with a core of Unicorn Hair. Slightly yielding. I don't need any of your Elder thank you. I'd go for the Resurrection Stone for many reasons even if isn't the best one. Deedle dum. 

Q27 Do you listen to Wizard Rock?

Yep. I play it in the house. The famalam loves it. Accio Love,Lumos Flies and Don't Leave are particular favourites.

I love Darren Criss. I love Harry Potter. What do you think?

Q29 What animal would your Patronus be?

Probably some sort of dog. Like a Golden Retriever. Probably.

Q30 Describe what Harry Potter means to you

Harry Potter is the only fandom that I have ever gotten really into. Ever. It means a lot. I spent most of my childhood wondering about Harry Potter and who I am in the wizarding world. It may seem cheesey and lame but Harry Potter just brings people together. People share their love of a book and in such a fandom people all love it and they become friends. Like Lex, I don't think I'd be blogging without Harry Potter. 

It's just special.
